This course provides students with the foundation knowledge and skills needed to obtain and evaluate diagnostically acceptable dental images. Emphasis will be given to radiation physics, principles of image formation, radiographic equipment and technique, radiographic quality evaluation, radiation biology and protection, and basic principles of radiographic interpretation.
