Small Engine Repair

This course offers students exposure to the various pieces of shop equipment/tools and details of small engine repair. It will focus on the servicing and repairing of two- and four-cycle engines. The class will service and repair mechanical, ignition, electrical, fuel, cooling, and starting systems. Disassembly, inspection for wear, assembly, and proper serviceability techniques using appropriate materials and proper check procedures for service/repair are stressed.
