This is a 128-hour PA 330 training curriculum that meets the state requirements as outlined under the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES). Macomb Criminal Justice Training Center instructors will be responsible for teaching subject matter which they are highly qualified in those areas.
Topics to be covered:
Legal- Constitutional law, American Jurisprudence, Arrest Procedures, Criminal Procedures Criminal Law, Civil Law, Courts, Evidence, Juvenile Law, Search and Seizure.
Defensive Tactics, First Aid, CPR, Report Writing, Cultural Diversity, Narcotic/Dangerous Drugs,
Civil Disorder/Radio Communication. There will be 8 hours of Active Shooter Response.
