Many organizations face the ongoing challenge of employees taking on new or multiple job responsibilities. As workforce roles shift to meet business demands, it becomes increasingly important to understand the value of effective safety and health programs and their impact on overall operations.

This two-day course provides an introduction to OSHA and MIOSHA, along with practical resources and tools to help participants create or strengthen a comprehensive safety and health program. The course also covers key General Industry Safety and Health Standards essential for maintaining a safe workplace.

Upon successful completion, each participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card.

Day 1 Topics

Introduction to OSHA & MIOSHA
Safety & Health Programs
Hazard Communication
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Day 2 Topics

Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection
Walking & Working Surfaces (including fall protection)
Machine Guarding
Electrical Safety
