The Certificate in Photographic Arts Program at Macomb Community College consists of six core courses. Upon completion of all courses, you will earn a Macomb Workforce & Continuing Education Certificate of Completion. Bring your camera to class, and note that field trips may replace class hours on occasion.

Core Courses: PHOT-8003B, PHOT-8006C, PHOT-8011C, PHOT-8030, PHOT-8013B, and PHOT-8005A.

Optional Courses (offered occasionally): PHOT-8024A, PHOT-8029A, and PHOT-8032A.

Refresher Workshops for Certificate Holders: PHOT-8035, PHOT-8036, PHOT-8033, and PHOT-8034.

These workshop classes allow certificate completers to troubleshoot and refresh skills in Travel Photography, Photoshop, and Portraiture while enhancing their portfolios.

What to bring: Please bring a digital camera to each class session.

Location: Classes are offered on campus or online, depending on the course.
