This MIOSHA program is designed to help employers ensure their organizations comply with the MIOSHA Administrative Rules Part 11: Recording and Reporting of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses. Participants will learn how to determine the recordability of work-related injuries and illnesses and will take part in a hands-on group exercise to complete the MIOSHA 300 Log. Using the completed log, attendees will calculate injury and illness rates and learn how to compare their results with industry benchmarks using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The program also includes a segment focused on identifying potential cost-saving opportunities within a company’s workers’ compensation program.
