There are two unique certificate opportunities available in the Landscape Program at Macomb Community College. Learn the skills and state-of-the-art information necessary to build a strong foundation in the original “Green Industry.” The Sustainable Landscape Design Program promotes professional standards, a strong work ethic, and sound management practices.
Basic Landscape Design Certificate (six courses): LAND-8004A, LAND-8005A, LAND-8006B, LAND-8008A, LAND-8018, and LAND-8009A.
These courses are held on Wednesdays.
Environmental Horticulture Certificate (six courses): LAND-8020A, LAND-8025A, LAND-8024, LAND-8021, LAND-8022A, and LAND-8023.
Optional training: (not part of certificate) LAND-8027.
These courses are held on Thursdays.
Location: All classes are held at South Campus, C Building, Room 119.
