Macomb Community College's Court Reporting program is approved by the Michigan Department of Education as a prerequisite for the Certified Shorthand Reporting Examination and is taught by State Certified Court Reporters.
Required courses include: CRTR-8000, CRTR-8007, CRTR-8008A, CRTR-8009B, CRTR-8011C, CRTR-8014, CRTR-8016, CRTR-8017, CRTR-8022, and CRTR-8025D.
A minimum 40-hour internship is required to complete the program. Court Reporters must be certified through state and national exams.
