Do you have a passion for animals? If so, a career as a Veterinary Assistant may be for you. Veterinary Assistants are a valuable part of the veterinary health care team!

Students must attend a mandatory workshop and orientation, complete all four modules and a 100 hour internship in order to receive a Workforce & Continuing Education certificate and be eligible to take the exam to become an Approved Veterinary Assistant through the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). More information about the exam can be found at www.navta.net.

During the program orientation, students will learn about the program requirements and student responsibilities.
